FAQs

Got a question?

You're not alone. Here are some of the most common questions I get from new clients - whether you're pregnant, postnatal, or just getting started. If there's anything else you're unsure about, feel free to reach out. I'm always happy to chat!

  • Your first session is both an intro and your first class. We’ll start with a quick chat about your goals, any injuries or concerns, and what kind of movement feels good for you, then we’ll jump into a personalised session tailored to your body and where you're at. It’s the starting point for everything to follow, and sets the tone for a supportive, feel-good experience from day one.

  • All 1:1 sessions run for 50 minutes, with a few minutes at the start to check in and tailor the session to how you're feeling that day.

  • Not at all! Whether you’re brand new to Pilates or have been practicing for years, sessions are completely personalised to meet you where you’re at.

  • Just a pair of grip socks, a water bottle, and permission to move at your own pace. All equipment is provided in the studio.

  • Yes, absolutely. I’m certified in prenatal Pilates and will tailor everything to your trimester, energy levels, and needs. You’ll just need clearance from your GP or obstetrician before getting started.

  • Everyone’s recovery is different. Most women feel ready to return around 6 weeks postnatal, but we’ll always go at your pace. You’ll just need clearance at your 6 week postpartum check up from your GP, midwife, or women’s health physio before starting.

  • Yes! I know how hard it can be to carve out time for yourself in those early months. If your baby isn’t yet walking or on the move, you’re welcome to bring a bouncer, or I can guide you through your session while you wear them in a carrier (I have one available if needed). I also have a heap of baby toys your bub is welcome to (mum life!) If your little one is more mobile, a babysitter can be arranged on request - subject to availability. Just let me know!

  • Present, calm and encouraging, Brooke brings the best energy to her Pilates classes. I’ve never experienced such a fun, rewarding or intensive workout that flies by so quickly. 10/10!

  • Brooke's classes are the perfect balance of control, flow and serious SPICE. Every movement feels intentional and I always leave feeling grateful for my body and what it is capable of - and for Brooke, who holds the space so beautifully.

  • Being quite new to Reformer, Brooke was really encouraging, helpful and informative. I felt good doing the class and all the movements, but challenged as well! I highly recommend coming to Brooke if you’re looking for a class that leaves you feeling grounded and totally in tune with yourself.

  • I recently had a class with Brooke and absolutely loved it! She was super attentive, adjusted everything to suit my neck issues, and still managed to make it a serious workout - my glutes were on fire! Her instructions were clear, and I felt challenged the whole way through. I also loved how she took me through some stretches on the reformer post the workout. I left feeling strong and sore in the best way possible.
